Anchors Evaluation

The UDUTU program was all about anchors it was informative.  It had man good things going for it.  The instructional strategies used were mostly in the form of a lecture.  It also was independent learning because the learner goes through the program at their own pace.  It followed a sequential order for the most part.  However, the navigation at the beginning states that you can click on any link below to start the program which would be beneficial if you had started and returned to the program at another time. But if it's your first time and choose to start somewhere other than the first page you can't really return to the beginning unless you go through the course map.

The UDUTU program offered audio with text that goes along, visual aids, and quizzes. The nice thing about the assessments was if you got an answer wrong a few times it brought you back to the page that covers the information on the assessment.

As I went through the program I noticed towards the end the quid along with the text stopped and there was only text on the page.  This threw me off because it wasn't consistent with the rest of the program.  I even stopped and restarted the program a few times to check.  There were also a few pages that I felt had to much text on them.  I think I would have chunked the text differently so the pages didn't seem overwhelmed with text.  I also think the video on page 19 was random and didn't serve any point.  My favorite feature that this UDUTU program had was the roll over effect that explain the images.  Overall, the UDUTU program seems very useful and informative.
